Northrop Grumman Principal Industrial Security Analyst 3 in Aurora, Colorado
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related CPSO experience is required or 4+ years with a MS Degree; experience in lieu of degree accepted.
Experience to include direct program security experience within the IC community: working knowledge of ICD 705, ICD 704 and applicable sponsor procedures.
Must have a current TS/SCI clearance and be willing to take a Polygraph.
TS/SCI with Poly.
Exemplary presentation and writing skills for interface with internal and external customers.
Ability to manage the program security requirements of large SCI contract.
Ability to travel to subcontractor or other work site locations within and outside of the CONUS for frequent onsite visits to ensure they are meeting prime contractor and Government directives.
Knowledgeable and able to answer questions; provide procedure and policy guidance, and supply approvals in accordance with IC and Sponsor procedures.
Experience working with customer-based security components.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers and across organizational elements.
Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
Able to assist other security personnel as needed.
Strong knowledge of COMSEC and SIMS preferred.
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
