Northrop Grumman Facilities Coordinator 3 in Aurora, Colorado

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Coordinator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Aurora, CO.

Position Summary / Responsibilities

Coordinates the construction, installation or rearrangement of equipment and building facilities and/or equipment and machinery maintenance for assigned area. Maintains contact with and directs contractor representatives and assists in resolving discrepancies in design specifications. Verifies labor expended and materials used and inspects projects for conformance to engineering standards and codes, building techniques and safety practices. Estimates percent completion of projects and advises designated individuals of cost status.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Schedule and coordinate vendor/contractor activities

Receive and address facility work requests from building occupants

Coordinate employee and program moves

Maintain current and accurate occupancy space utilization reports using Archibus

Adhere to Sector Space Standards, Facility Pool and budget

Follow all Northrop Grumman EH&S compliance regulations including State and Federal

Assist in the coordination of facility and construction projects/building modifications. Generate SOW's for these projects. Inspect the quality of the work of our subcontractors. Coordinate with management on larger projects.

Coordinate with other support organizations within Northrop Grumman, i.e., IT, Security, Property

Perform with limited to no supervision. Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Team player with good communication and people skills.

Basic Qualifications:

High School and 4 years additional education and/or experience. Experience to include facilities; i.e. equipment maintenance,i.e.construction, obtaining vendors, repairs, installation and rearrangement of building assets.

Ability to obtain up to TS/SCI clearance.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel and Power Point

Proficient writing, organization and planning skills

Must be able to prioritize own activities in a very dynamic work environment

Leadership qualities, very good communication and interpersonal skills

Limited supervision required. No instructions needed on routine work and general. Instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current active TS SCI security clearance

AutoCAD and Archibus experience

Microsoft Visio and Adobe experience

Facility Project Management experience

High level understanding of building systems

High level understanding of Building construction

High level understanding of building/facilities operations

HVAC and plumbing experience
