The Integration, Test, and Deployment (IT&D) organization team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as an Engineer System Test based out of Aurora, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' NEW MOON program is seeking a dynamic self-starter to join a team of software/systems test engineers to develop, author, and conduct test plans and procedures. This position is a direct report to the Test Lead within the Integration, Test, and Deployment (IT&D) organization. The selected candidate will possess excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with other program organizations. This is a highly challenging opportunity requiring flexibility and commitment. The selected candidate will need to be broad in their skills, adaptable to a changing environment, and deliver tasks within budget and schedule.
The selected candidate must have the ability to excel in a diverse government/multi-contractor environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Short and long term software/systems test planning and execution in support of multiple, concurrent baselines. This includes testing subsystem functionality per design with an emphasis on requirement satisfaction, deployment readiness, and system capabilities and performance.
Participating in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers/SETAs, and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables.
Articulating product acceptance standards and streamlining test activities in support of the overall enterprise vision.
Responding to various requests from program management for technical information and assisting in resolution of technical issues.
Supporting software/systems integration activities as may be required.
Some travel may be required.
A current/ active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Systems Test Engineer 2:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, or related technical degree with two (2); zero (0) years with Masters.
Systems Test Engineer 3:
B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical degree with 5+ years test development experience; 3+ years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD.
Knowledge of/experience in Linux/Unix environments.
Experience with SIGINT processing systems.
Experience with virtualization, messaging techniques, and associated software technology.
Experience in a technical test role.
Experience on NEW MOON and/or heritage mission experience.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Strong planning and organization skills, yet able to quickly adjust to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Current/active TS/SCI clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Quick learner and self-starter.
Experience with external interfaces.
Experience testing the IEP system.
Experience with large systems testing.
Experience with ICD 503.
