An Aurora, Colorado program is looking for an individual contributor to perform Information Assurance System Engineering (IASE) tasks and assume associated responsibilities to assist in implementing various IASE requirements. The selected candidate will participate in formal certification, test, and evaluation activities. The selected candidate must have the ability to assess IA controls and assist in the development of IA specifications; participate in the design and development of software and hardware systems and subsystems; and assist in Assessment and Authorization (A&A). The selected candidate will also be responsible for understanding functional system requirements and deriving security controls to provide technical implementation solutions to various engineering teams in order to comply with federal system requirements; identify system design and operational vulnerabilities, and make recommendations to address deficient areas. Additional responsibilities include assisting the program to achieve certification of the system utilizing and adhering to ICD503 standards. The selected candidate will be responsible for drafting and updating security artifacts. The selected candidate must have demonstrated leadership and project execution skills with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as well as employ excellent written and oral communications skills.
The position will be performed primarily at the program factory in Aurora, Colorado with potential to support CONUS/OCONUS deployments as required from time to time. The ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently, technical presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimal direction and oversight are highly desired.
9 Years with Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 12 years of cyber system engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Background in Systems Administration and/or Information Assurance
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; must be willing to submit to a Counter Intelligence polygraph
Current TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
Experience with analyzing and engineering data from both conventional and non-conventional collection sensors for the IC community.
Background in National systems end-to-end and conventional collection sensors and processing algorithms.
