The Mission Exploitation Systems Operating Unit is seeking a Business Management Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to manage this Operating Unit. This position is located in Aurora, CO. Due to the nature and scope of this role, the ability to work remotely will be very limited.

In this role, the selected candidate will be:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of contract capture, performance, and closeout activities supporting the Mission Exploitation Systems Operating Unit.

  • Responsible for setting and performing to objectives and providing guidance to a multi-site team based on goals, objectives, and company policy.

  • Expected to influence and impact strategy in their role through advanced level of understanding in several diverse Business Management disciplines. Involves a broad grasp of involved practices and procedures.

  • A Finance Leader directly responsible for program cost control, and knowledgeable on all financial matters supporting the OU Program Director and BU BM Director.

  • A decision maker having risk/reward implications for Operating Unit and program area of influence. Regularly requires analysis of alternative courses of action.

  • The Sole financial interface for site leadership for financial matters, including ID Cost (Rate Management), Financial Planning, Pricing, and Compliance issues that are organized and staffed outside of the Operating Unit.

  • Comfortable with multiple customers, deliverables, and enjoy a high-paced environment.

Specific Day-to-Day responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the following:

  • Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis.

  • Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review.

  • Development of monthly forecast (IF) and AOP.

  • Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff.

  • Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.

  • Internal and External support of compliance audits.

  • On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams.

  • Collaboration with Directors and Program Managers.

  • Assistance with contract negotiations.

  • Support of pricing and proposal activities.

  • Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience - OR - Master's degree with 8+ years of related experience.

  • Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.

  • Prior experience in proposal preparation and BOE preparation and evaluations.

  • Current, active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain SCI upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.

  • Active, current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.

  • Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR.

  • Knowledge of government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development.

  • Prior experience in proposal preparation and BOE preparation and evaluations.

  • Earned Value Proficiency including NG System Description.

  • Experience with Cognos financial forecasting system and Cobra earned value management system.

  • Experience with SAP ERP 1.

Salary Range: $139,000 - $208,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
