Northrop Grumman Administrative Assistant 2- TS/SCI in Aurora, Colorado
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Administrative Assistant supporting several important programs in Aurora, Colorado.
Principal duties include:
Using a variety of software packages such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and electronic mail to produce and distribute letters, memoranda, reports and graphics products.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and editing written material for correct spelling and grammar.
Coordinating and processing travel and expense reports for multiple employees.
Coordinating multiple calendars, schedule appointments and reconciling scheduling conflicts as required.
Coordinating meetings and their necessary resources.
Must be able to act with discretion and good judgment when handling or disseminating sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information.
Processing security requests; working closely with facilities and IT organizations to coordinate office workspace planning, ordering office equipment and interacting with other administrative support personnel to coordinate special event planning.
Answering telephones and greeting visitors, directing calls/visitors to proper party, releasing and obtaining information within scope of delegated authority.
Coordinating and maintaining property management.
Setting up and maintaining filing and record retention systems.
Sorting and distributing mail.
Operating general office equipment such as copiers, scanner, fax or other office machines.
Supporting multiple programs, assisting other Administrative Assistants, and taking on additional projects, as needed.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be a self-starter capable of independent work, a team player with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
High School diploma or GED and 2 years additional education and/or experience.
Hold and maintain active TS/SCI clearance or higher
Experience working as an Administrative Assistant.
Being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributors.
Must be proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook mail/calendar).
Experience with supporting mid-level management, as well as multiple program activities simultaneously.
Familiarity with complexities in establishing employees with needed work equipment in a secure environment.
Being comfortable interacting with senior and executive-level management and customers.
