Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Help Desk/Training Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in transforming the future of technology and public health. This position will be located in Atlanta, GA and will become part of Northrop Grumman's team that supports the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. We're looking for an IT help desk resource to provide support for digital communications systems, services, and tools. Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, and be passionate about technology and helping people. This role will support the web content community, external CDC partners, public health entities, and the general public.

Basic Function/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and add to user knowledge bases to increase future self-service

  • Plan, create, and deliver trainings on a broad range of digital media systems and tools

  • Oversee help desk tickets including receipt, triage, troubleshooting, and user assistance

  • Fulfill requests using various digital media systems including the enterprise Web Content Management System (WCMS) and services related to content delivery

  • Escalate to others on the team to resolve tickets when needed

  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution

  • Assist in creation and delivery of training

  • Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed
