Northrop Grumman Sr Principal Project Mgmt in Annapolis, Maryland

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr Principal Project Mgmt to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Northrup Grumman Undersea Systems in Annapolis, MD.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems sector where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant would perform project management duties concentrating on Control Account Management (CAM) and create efficiencies across the SIERRA program portfolio, Special Defense Operating Unit (OU).

The Undersea Systems business unit is the Center of Excellence for complex, unmanned systems and solutions across the maritime environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform Control Account Management (CAM) duties

• Develop and adhere to baselines using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and tools

• Develop and execute to an Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

• Provide status, variance reports, EV metrics, and Estimate At Complete (EAC) on a regular basis per program requirements

• Work with the technical staff to status the IMS

• Work to targeted cost, schedule, and staffing requirements

• Review labor resource and cost actuals on a weekly basis, taking action on any discrepancies

• Support development of packages for Change Requests for cost and schedule and present at Configuration Control Board (CCB)

• Support and generate staffing requirements, documentation, requisitions, forecasts, and reporting

• Review and disseminate resumes for qualified individuals

• Facilitate internal meetings to support staffing, ensuring the staffing needs meet the staffing baseline

• Record and track IPT staffing, including development and/or maintenance of records for all applications, resumes, and status

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 10 years relevant experience

• Experience with CAM and EVM methodologies

• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement

• Ability to multitask and quickly turn around high quality assignments

• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement

• Experience with Return-To-Green plans, and Forecasting EACs, and managing budgets

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly

• Previous experience on Defense Contract development programs

• Previous experience working with Systems Engineering teams

• Previous experience in Operations
