Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team located at Annapolis Junction, MD.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The System Engineer will oversee efforts of engineering staff to design, develop, engineer and implement solutions to security requirements. Responsible for the implementation and development of the customer's IT security service. Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements. Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products and ongoing programs in the MLS arena.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience assist Government Program Managers with the management, administrative and technical oversight of the program portfolio.

Expert knowledge of requirements analysis and systems integration

CDS experience

Experience as Technical Team Lead; providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of all components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis

Experience Improve standard integration strategies based upon rationale for previous decisions that resulted in improved integration performance

Security Clearance: Candidates must have TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Education/Experience Requirement: Fourteen (14) years + relevant B.S. (Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related STEM discipline). Nineteen (19) years + no degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

Twenty (20) years + relevant B.S. or Twenty-five (25) + no degree is highly preferred to meet program requirements for senior positions.

Ability to oversee engineering staff and provide solutions to security requirements

Experience supporting IC customers

Possess current knowledge of all work in progress under the specific program and capable of discussing items or issues for the program.
