Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a software programmer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

The qualified applicant will serve as a programmer for an embedded vulnerabilities contract and become part of Northrop Grumman's Cyber Intelligence Mission Solutions (CIMS) Division. The qualified candidate will work on a team of experienced and Apprentice Software Engineers to gain an understanding and develop products that support initiatives related to the Internet of Things (IoT).

Roles and Responsibilities:

For this position the candidate should understand object oriented programming and structured development methodologies.

This position involves performing research on commercially available products, research, and analysis and writing code:

Conduct research on commercially available products that support IoT

Design, and perform rapid prototyping to test ideas and concepts

Document and present research finding

Work independently or within a team to perform assigned tasks

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)

Experience with IoT devices

Experience writing and presenting research findings

Experience using the Microsoft office suite

Experience working in a virtualized network

Understanding of Object Oriented and Structured development methodologies

Understanding of a Windows or Linux environment

High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Zigbee communication protocols

Experience Penetration Testing

Familiar with LoRa wireless data communication

Understands principles of reverse engineering
