Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Principal Systems Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Review cyber capability needs statements submitted by mission owners throughout the Cyber Operational Force (COF).
Work with mission owners to refine needs statements to elicit, analyze, develop, and manage derive needs stated as requirement or in the form agile user stories.
Develop functional models in the form of functional block diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and other using model-based system engineering.
Perform trade studies and analysis of alternatives and make recommendations on how to best move forward in providing needed capabilities.
Work with internal and external capability development teams in technical exchange and agile scrum meetings.
Participate in cross-organization working groups and meeting supporting Government leads.
Prepare and present technical briefings to stakeholders including mission owners, cyber analysts/operators, Government and military persons, and to command leadership.
Identify and manage technical and schedule risks recommending and following through on risk mitigations.
Author system documentation, test plans, system engineering plans, point papers, and white papers.
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
B.S. degree in the STEM field or related field and 8 years of relevant work experience.
Senior Technical Writing experience
Understanding of Configuration Management
Advanced degree in STEM field
Understanding of Unified Platform (UP)
Understanding on Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA)
Understanding on MARFORCYBER Engineering process
