Job Description:

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking Configuration Analysts to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction. Our Configuration Analysts support a wide range of systems and programs using modern configuration management tools and processes.

Responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems. Works on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems. Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures. Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life. Perform change control and configuration audits. Utilize configuration management tools (e.g. DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Core Competencies:

You must minimally meet the educations and skills below to be considered for the position

Education: Associate's Degree in a technical or Business field is required. An additional 2 years of CM experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted in lieu of degree. Higher level degrees such as Bachelor's will reduce the years of required experience by 2 years.

• 3 years of software configuration management experience

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

Willingness to Support/Learn:

• Experience in the use of configuration management tools (e.g. DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items

• CM tools such as Bamboo/Jenkins, GIT, Fisheye/Crucible, Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, Sonatype Nexus, and Gitlab

• Basic understanding of Linux commands

• Basic use of scripting languages such as BASH, Python, Perl and/or Groovy

• Development process such as Agile/Scrum and/or Kanban

• Understand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures

• Languages such as Java, C/C++, C#

• Provisioning tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and/or Salt

• Experience with Maven
