Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
As a Cyber Systems Engineer on the FUSION project, you will be part of a growing, inter-disciplinary team conducting research and development for cyber security software systems for the US Army. This software is created in tandem with military users and systems analysts to ensure timely and accurate requirements are developed and implemented. The FUSION project needs highly skilled full-stack software developers that can work in high-stress situations, in austere military field conditions, long hours, and under demanding timelines. The work is fast paced and highly rewarding given the immediate feedback from soldiers operating the software in simulated combat conditions.
Understand full-stack web development
Proficient in Java
Proficient HTML/CSS/JS (Vue, D3, Go.js)
Proficient in Neo4j and postgreSQL
Proficient in Esper CEP
Able to take the initiative and work with minimal guidance
Willingness to travel up to 20%
Willingness to work overtime
Able to work in high-stress environments under demanding timelines
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of applied experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
