Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator to install hardware and software, conduct system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software and security related problems. The System Administrator shall perform system backups and recovery; maintain user accounts, data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity; conduct training, maintain documentation; and provide front-line customer support for IT related problems. This labor category requires DoD 8570 compliance - at minimum, IAT Category, Level I certification but will quickly require IAT Category, Level 2 within 6 months. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

This is a contingent position and funding for the position is based off of contract award.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Education Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related technical discipline is required.

• Demonstrated experience and/or training (including self-learning) in software development in object-oriented and scripted languages (e.g., Java Script, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby)

• Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration and development best practices.

• A current DoD 8570 Certification IAT Level 1 or Higher or the willingness and ability to obtain prior to start

Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph Clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with USCYBERCOM

• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or higher

• 3+ years of Systems Administrator experience

• Linux
