Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Apprentice Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Columbia, MD.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The project is in need of a Software Engineer to design and develop system capabilities, including data ingest and data management.


Basic Qualifications:

2+ years software engineering experience

Experience with Java

Experience with databases and/or key/value stores

Experience with Linux

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Security Clearance: Must be US Citizen able to pass an extensive security clearance investigation up through Full-Scope Polygraph. Active TS/SCI w/Poly is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with scripting (e.g., Python)

Experience with Docker

Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or similar NoSQL
