Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking multiple Division Enterprise Managers in the following locations: Alexandria, VA and Atlanta, GA.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Division Enterprise Manager

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between the customer and all service delivery elements, including operations, transformation, project teams, Emergency Ops, and line management.

Participate in one or more Agile project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations for a Division and it's supporting Districts.

Single point of contact keeping lines of communication open and actively engaged in customer collaboration and feedback on performance to close gaps.

Discusses and tables ideas for innovations and service delivery changes to get feedback and to support Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives throughout the geographically dispersed sites.

Supports management of TDLs, help customer understand the value of the changes.

Prepares, communicates and delivers project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the TDL. Keeps current on advances in the field of IT.

Provides customer insights, leadership and guidance to cross functional matrix teams. Coordinates to enable effective delivery and efficient use of services.

Maintains alignment to the RITS technology (IT) strategies, ensuring that services are consistent and supportive of those strategies and that they deliver value to customers and are an effective use of budget.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with operations, project managers, line managers, and Division and District IT Chiefs.

Identify opportunities to improve services and systems integration by reducing redundancy and cost, while at the same time increasing productivity of the digital engineer.

Continually evaluate services to determine opportunities for consolidations, efficiencies, shared solutions across the enterprise. Apply continuous improvement methodologies, such as Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, to drive operational efficiency into services.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 10 years experience with a minimum of 5 years Enterprise IT experience.

  • Demonstrated experience working on customer site with matrixed and virtual teams.

  • Demonstrated experience in program management, analysis, planning, presentation and human relations skills required.

  • Must be flexible and demonstrate strong judgment/decision-making skills, and business acumen.

  • Demonstrated experience with managing projects within schedule and budget, identifying year-over-year cost reductions and/or continuous improvements.

  • Strong knowledge of the Enterprise services portfolio, and experience working with and communicating effectively with executive and Commander leadership

  • Active Secret security clearance and US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training in Agile methodologies.

  • Demonstrated superior organizational skills, and ability to communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Familiar with Agile and KANBAN concepts.

  • Active PMP certification.
